Young Professionals Virtual Happy Hour - Welcome New Inductees!

The Greater Detroit Association PBK’s online happy hours are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month. Happy hours are tailored toward Young Professionals (members who have graduated in the past 10 years), but any Phi Beta Kappa member is welcome. This is a great opportunity to meet new inductees, network and learn more about Young Professionals and the Greater Detroit Association. We hope to see you there!

Please RSVP here to receive the Google Meet link before the meeting.

Arabic to English at Theatre Nova, Ann Arbor

Join us for the world premiere of Arabic to English by David Wells. In a high-stakes trial, Faheem, an Arab America man, is accused of fraudulent marriage to gain a visa. Losing in court will send him to a country he barely knows. His interpreter, Amina, is a young Arab American woman about to be married to Faheem's white American trial lawyer. When romance blossoms between the interpreter and the defendant, Amina must decide which words to translate and which to leave unspoken.

Theatre Nova is a small, intimate theater with open seating. It is located at 410 W Huron St., Ann Arbor, MI 48103 and has free parking in the adjacent lot.

Purchase tickets ($22 each) for the 2:00 PM matinee on Sunday, June 11, 2023 directly from Theatre Nova. We highly recommend advance purchase because some performances sell out. Advance tickets are available by phone (734) 635-8450) or online at

After the show, we will gather for drinks, snacks, and conversation at the Pretzel Bell (226 S Main St, Ann Arbor, MI).
