Spring Book Club Virtual Meeting 

Join other Phi Betes for a lively discussion of the book On Juneteenth by Annette Gordon-Reed, a Phi Beta Kappa member, a Pulitzer-Prize winning author, and a historian at Harvard University. Having grown up in East Texas, Gordon-Reed weaves together personal memoir and American history to show the integral role played by African Americans in the Texas story.

Walking Tour of U-M Campus, Ann Arbor

Meet fellow PBK members for a complimentary walking tour of the Central Campus of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Our very experienced guide, Estrella Salgado, will describe campus life and the university's history, with a focus on past visits of U.S. presidents to Ann Arbor. Estrella is a 2020 PBK inductee from University of Michigan, a founding member of our Young Professionals Committee, and an MA candidate at the university.

Pre-Game March & Detroit City FC Soccer Match, Hamtramck

PBK member, Steve Tripp, will be our guide for a truly unique cultural experience: optional March to the Match followed by Detroit City FC soccer match in Hamtramck. Meet at 6:00 PM at Fowling Warehouse (3910 Christopher St. Hamtramck) to join the March. Match between DCFC Men and Sacramento Republic FC starts at Keyworth Stadium at 7:30 PM.
