Fall Book Club Virtual Meeting

Gather with other PBK members to discuss The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Vitoria Christopher Murray. This book tells the extraordinary story Belle da Costa Greene, who managed and developed the personal library of J. P. Morgan in the early 20th century. She became a fixture in New York Society and powerful in the art and book world, but she had a secret. To protect her career, Belle passed as white rather than acknowledge her Black heritage.

Please RSVP here in order to receive an email with the Zoom link prior to the event. Guests of PBK members are welcome to join us.
